Position Available
Product Designer – Injection Moulded Plastics Specialist
Belgrave Office – Yarra Ranges
Casual Part-Time (up to 32 – 38 hours/week) with a view to a permanent position
(Can tailor to suit your situation – family-friendly employer)
This is a chance to apply your deep technical knowledge of injection moulded plastics and bring well-engineered products from concept through to production.
SCAD Design has a position available commencing immediately.
We are a small, experienced product design house developing a wide range of products. Our core work involves electronics and electrical enclosures, connectors, switches, power outlets, and associated accessories. Plastic injection mouldings form a significant and critical component of our deliverables, and this role requires someone with strong, practical, hands-on knowledge in this area.
We develop products from concept through to production and pride ourselves on a robust design-for-manufacture approach. A strong mechanical mindset is essential. While styling and presentation skills are valuable, the primary focus of this role is technically sound, production-ready plastic component design.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of detailed design outcomes is essential.
